Cahore Book Club
A new Community Book Club for lovers of literature and fantasy fans launched recently in The Strand Cahore.
Taking place on the second Thursday of every month in The Strand Cahore, the new community group brings together budding readers.
The group’s first book will be ‘The Lake House at Lenashee’ by local author, Sheila Forsey, who attended the book club on the night of the launch. The book, which is primarily set in Clare in the 1960s, has been described by The Sunday Independent as “a Gothic-style tale with an Irish twist…escapism at its best”.
