Cahore Cliff Walk

Cahore Cliff Walk

Cahore Cliff Walk is a stunning coastal walking track from Cahore Pier southbound across the cliff edge, around Cahore Castle to the incredibly sandy South Beach & Old Bawn. Taking in the stunning sea views and wild flora and fauna.

Developed by Ballygarrett Tidy Towns in association with Wexford County Council, the walking track was recently accredited by Sports Ireland.

The pathway is wide and level with plenty of room for buggies and all the family. It is a dog walkers paradise and a perfect location to take in the fresh sea air or go for a jog.

There is a 5km loop which has become very popular with “Couch to 5k” groups.

When you round the corner towards the end of the pathway and South Beach becomes visible, it is simply joyous. This is the starting point for one of the longest continuous stretches of beach in Europe and it runs on past BallinOulart, Morriscastle, Curracloe beaches to the Raven at the entrance to Wexford Harbour.
