Community Appreciation Day

Published by admin on

Cahore Inshore Rescue Service have organised a Community Appreciation Day for Saturday 28th August 2021 from 12noon to 3pm at Cahore Pier.

The Community Day is a way of saying THANK YOU to everyone for supporting C.I.R.S throughout the year and helping finance the operation of the lifeboat.

The day will begin with a beach and Cliffwalk clean up at 11am until 12 noon, organised by The Hungry Heron Team. To reward you for your efforts, you can relax on the pier afterwards and enjoy a complimentary burger, hosted by the Cahore Inshore Rescue (don’t worry, the crew have not become chefs, we have enlisted the help of our very skilled cooks for the day 😊).

There will be lots of activities on around the Pier.

We also have a raffle with some very exciting prizes. Tickets will be on sale at The Hungry Heron from Thursday onwards, and will also be on sale on Saturday on the pier.

Prizes include:

*Redmond Electric €150 Voucher,

*Delonghi Coffee Machine donated by Dominic Smith Electrical & Home Entertainment
